Declarations to Increase Brand Value
On Tuesday, July 20,
from 12:30 to 1:30 Eastern time, Connie Hensler, Director of LCA for
Interface Inc, will share insights on how to use Environmental Product
Declarations to provide what specifiers and purchasers in corporations,
educational institutions and government are seeking in 2010. This is the
first in a series of 12 monthly webinars offered by the Global Products
Alliance.
Recognizing that the new directive of
the Securities and Exchanges Commission and other initiatives are
demanding of manufacturers that they measure, verify and communicate
publicly the environmental and sustainability impacts of products made
or purchased, efficient tools are needed. Ms. Hensler will describe how
Interface Inc uses LCAs and EPDs to enhance its brand and marketing
initiatives.
