Events and News

2030 Challenge for Products 

The Green Standard is a supporter of the  "2030 Challenge for Products" and provided assistance in developing a robust FAQs page.

This initiative provides the North American marketplace with documentation on which building design firms have committed to using product life cycle assessments (LCAs) and environmental product declarations (EPDs) as a key filter for product selection.

While the 2030 Challenge for Products does not certify that an LCA or EPD is complete, credible and transparent, it does

note what certification by other entities entails, additionally noting which bodies do verify LCAs and certify EPDs. Follow the link below for more details:
