Wes Evans is an Executive-on-Loan to The Green Standard for several months. After that he returns to his role as Vice President of Matrix Technology Alliance, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable economic development. His areas of specialization include green technology development and social justice programming. Prior to Matrix, Wes served as President of eTc Holdings, Ltd., a private company that employs green technologies and triple bottom line principles of economic development to create sustainable micro-economies. Previously, he was President of Evergreen Consulting Services, a company he created after retiring from Herman Miller, Inc. with 23 years of service in Marketing, Distribution, eCommerce and Environmental Business Development.
Wes has a passion for protecting our environment through community service. He was the first field based volunteer on Herman Miller’s Environmental Quality Action Team, one of the first LEED Accredited Professionals in the country and has spent countless volunteer hours promoting sustainable development.
Along the way, he founded The Evergreen Network and has started two U.S. Green Building Council chapters. Wes holds a degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, where he graduated with honors in 1973.
